Larry Lawrence has been a professional venture capital investor since 1970 when he joined Citicorp Venture Capital ("CVC"). As President and Chief Investment Officer of CVC, Larry was actively involved in building a major institutional portfolio which included many pioneering successes in the venture industry. Since 1981, Larry has founded and been a managing partner of a series of independent venture funds which have collectively sponsored nearly 100 growth companies in a broad range of technology and service industries.

Rick Smith has worked in partnership with Larry Lawrence since 1979 and has spearheaded Allegra's highly successful activities in the telecommunications and software industries. Rick has become a well-known practitioner of the art of value-added investing as he has helped to guide several Allegra portfolio companies through the challenges of developing high growth businesses.

Rich Lefebvre brings to Allegra the hands-on experience of over twenty years as a senior operating executive of rapidly growing technology companies. Most recently, Rich was the CEO of Axent Technologies, Inc., (NASDAQ: AXNT) an Allegra III portfolio company with a leadership position in e-security and other information security solutions for enterprise computer networks. Throughout his career, Rich has been recognized for his mentoring and people development skills which continue to make a significant contribution to Allegra's support of portfolio companies.

Rick Defieux has over fifteen years of venture capital investment experience and five years of growth company operating management experience. Rick is focused on investments in the telecommunications and software industries as well as Internet-based service companies. Rick's broad range of growth company investment management and operating experience enable him to provide a strong base of value-added support to Allegra's portfolio companies.
