| GENERAL |
| Allegra
invests in early stage companies with market-ready products
or services which have strong management teams and unique
strategies for developing high growth companies in well-defined
markets. Allegra is generally the first institutional
investor and serves as a lead investor or sole investor.
|
| INDUSTRY |
| Allegra
focuses on companies in the telecommunication, software
and services industries with technology-driven strategies.
Our primary interest is in business-to-business and infrastructure
investments rather than direct to consumer, brand-building
strategies. |
| STAGE |
| Companies
we invest in typically have revenue of between $1 million
and $20 million, although we have invested in companies
with as much as $200 million in revenue where an opportunity
existed to build a high growth business on top of the
company's existing revenue and customer base. |
| SIZE |
| Initial
financings are typically between $5 million and $20 million
in size. Allegra has the capability to provide significantly
larger amounts of capital through its existing network
of relationships with financial partners. |
|
LOCATION
|
| Since
Allegra works closely with each investment to maximize
its potential, our investments tend to be concentrated
in the Eastern United States, close to our home office
in New York City. |
